Mission Statement
Hafod Care strives to offer flexible and diverse support services to address the challenges of homelessness and believes this client group should not be disadvantaged or discriminated against in accessing accommodation services.

The scheme aims to deliver a package of one to one support to 16-25 year olds. This support will be proactive in assisting young people to successfully sustain a permanent tenancy with Hafod Housing Association within the community.

Bridgend Young Persons Scheme provides ongoing support for up to approximately two years.

There are two support workers who provide weekly support to encourage and promote independent living and become self-efficient in dealing with daily skills ranging from budgeting, accessing training/employment/studies,cooking,health etc..
If more specialised support is required links will be made to refer to specialised agencies.

The initial process is via a referral from the homelessness department of Bridgend County Borough Council, as the scheme works from a 100% nomination process from the homelessness department.
