The Gleemen are proud to announce they are involved in the Specsavers campaign to raise money for the Ty Hafan Childrens Hospice.We are doing 15 events for this worthy cause, from October 29th to December 17th.




The Gleemen are proud to announce that Rebbeca Evans World famous operatic soprano,is to perform in their annual concert in Maesteg town hall on October 10th this year.Rebbeca who was an adjudicator in this years Dunraven Welsh young singer of the year is now a patron of the choir and has also offered theyoungsingers a master class which is to be held in Maesteg town hall on June 28th a wonder full gesture on her part. She was so impressed with the competition staged by the Gleemen and sponserd by Dunraven windows that she spontaneously offerd her services on the night.Details willbe in the local press ASAP

Maesteg Gleemen are proud to announce that World renown singer Rebbeca Evans has agreed to become an adjudicator in next years Dunraven Welsh young singer of the year.


Maesteg Gleemen have been engaged to perform in the Marriot Hotel in Cardiff for a hospitality
dinner before the Wales V Australia match.
Congratulations to our President David Brace on being awarded the OBE in this years honours list .

Gunter Klasen has become a Honorary Patron of the choir. Gunter has had business connections in the Llynfi valley for many years and has many friends in the locality and from him the seeds were sown for a visit to Germany ,and after meeting the choir in Germany on their tour to Essen has agreed to to be Honorary Patron.
