Gilfach Goch Mothers Union

Our branch of Mothers Union meet on the second Thursday of each month at:-
St Barnabas Church Hall
High Street
Gilfach Goch.

We are a religious organisation and our meetings are very friendly and informal. We open with our various prayers, we also pray for any of our members who may be sick, or in any other adversity. We also remember our branch link in Australia. We then discuss any forthcoming events or any other business in connection with the Mothers Union. During our meetings a guest speaker is usually invited along to give a talk on a variety of topics, or sometimes we may have a demonstration. This is then followed by light refreshments, a chat, friendship and we always close our meetings with prayers.
Throughout the year we have trips away and meals out, which are usually very enjoyable.
We also hold a Mothers Union Eucharistic Service, attend festivals, and make donations to different charities like Christian Aid and the Operation Christmas Child Appeal (Christmas Shoe Boxes).
