About Cobwebs!

The Cobwebs site is your online guide to local clubs, societies and organisations within the Bridgend borough. All types of local groups can be found here, along with contact details and other useful information. Bridgend Library and Information Service, Bridgend Information Society Plan and Design at Bridgend have worked together to develop this online searchable database.

The websites created through Cobwebs will be simple in design, but will help organisations work towards making their 'first step' online by having a web presence. The system is free to use for not-for-profit organisations in Bridgend.

The project is part-funded through the CyMAL Library Development Grant Scheme, and forms part of a whole package of projects aimed at helping the people and communities of Bridgend to become involved in this new 'Information Society'.
